Cítíme, že náš národ je v důležitém čase změny a je na Církvi, aby se modlila. Všichni známe výsledky letošních voleb, ale ani jeden z nás neví, jak to s tou politickou situací dopadne a kdo a jak bude vládnout. Myslím si, že patová situace voleb vyzývá Církev k modlitbám. Je čas.

Všimli jste si chrámu sv. Víta (mimochodem od minulého týdne patří opět Katolické církvi) jak je postaven? Nejsem odborník, ale většina budovy je v gotickém stylu, ale zajímavé je, že zhruba posledních pár metrů je dokončeno novým architektonickým stylem.

Přijde mi, že Bůh skutečně něco nového tvoří, co „nastavuje“ na ty staré struktury. Nezáleží jestli staré struktury, systémy z 90% převažují, ale to, co je na špici – to nové, krásné, Boží dokonalé dílo – je to co je a bude nejvíce viditelné. A poroste to!
Věřím, že máme jako Církev milost něco s naší zemí udělat a modlit se a prohlašovat Boží slovo a Boží zaslíbení pro svůj lid!

We feel that our nation is in a key time of change and it’s time for the Church to pray. We all have seen the election results and nobody knows how the political situation will turn out and which will be the leading party or government. I think that this draw/tie in the elections challenges the Church to pray. It’s time.
Have you ever looked at the st. Vit cathedral (btw the ownership was handed back to the Catholic church last week, before it belonged to the state) and noticed how the top tower had been built differently than the rest? The cathedral was built in gothic style, but interesting thing is that the end bit, few meters, is clearly in a new architectural style.

I think that God is surely creating something new, which is being built on the top of the old structures. It doesn’t matter if the old structures or systems predominate 90 %, but what is on top – the new, beautiful, God perfect artpiece – that will be the most visible. And it will grow!

I do believe that the Church has been given grace for such a time as this to make a difference in our nation, to pray and to proclaim God’s word and his promises for his children!
