Holiness, holiness, it's what I long for...

Sunday morning I woke up with the urgency to spend time with God. I felt I needed to get right with Him as far as some of my actions and words I said. As I started to read the Bible God was speaking to me about holiness, purity in deeds, words, thought life, the stuff I let through my ears and being like Jesus.
"Anyone who claims to be intimate with God ought to live the same kind of life Jesus lived." (The Message 1 Jn 2:6)
"Don't love the world's ways. Don't love the world's goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out—but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity." (The Message 1 Jn 2:15-17)

V neděli ráno jsem se probudila s nutkáním být s Bohem. Cítila jsem, že se musím s Ním usmířit ohledně některých mých činů a slov, které jsem řekla. Když jsem si začala číst v Bibli, Bůh ke mně začal mluvit ohledně svatosti, čistotě skutků, slov, myšlení i naslouchání a o tom, že mám být jako Ježíš.
"Kdo říká, žže v něm zůstává, musí žžít, jako žžil on (Ježíš)." (1 Jan 2:6)
"Nemilujte svět ani to, co je v něm. Kdo má v lásce tento svět, nemá v sobě lásku k Otci. Svět je samá touha těla, touha očí, namyššlenost žživota –nic z toho není z Otce, to všše je ze světa. Svět pomíjí tak jako jeho touhy, ale kdo plní Božží vůli, trvá na věky." (1 Jan 2:15-17)
